Winter Gardenwasone of the most breathtaking books that I have everread in my entire life. Walking through the city you can see the success that Winter Garden has effectuated since the very first election in transformed into a modern haven for artcommunity, and economy. My hope is that you leave this novel informed, but not merely with the facts and figures; rather, I want you to be able to actually imagine it, to ask yourself how you would have fared in such terrible times. The story begins with the planting of seeds and sprouts and ends with delicious vegetable soup.

Kristin Hannah's writing is absolutely exquisite. Through real magic of the garden or simply the shared experience of nurturing it, their personal walls begin to crumble and slowly relationships bloom. Plant the growing seed and let it go, but watch out! Promise me.
